So here’s what I did with my day…
So we have a Tardis console in our living room, it was hastily assembled in roughly two days, and now that it’s going to occupy a larger spot in our living room for awhile, we feel like it’s time to build the real, actual one.
So here’s the blue prints, at least for the center column it’s all going to be built on. We’re actually building it all modular, so it can be taken apart and taken to conventions. (Also this means we can build different versions of the console and just slot them on)( we’re starting with the current console (Matt Smith’s second one) as I like it the most of the new consoles (I’m still going to change a few things)
These will probably change as I get an idea of what materials are actually available and as I draft up the other parts (Time rotor, and the individual panels) But for now I’ve got my shopping list, so tomorrow to the hardware store to start building a budget for this project.
